Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 20 from 4:30pm-6:00pm for our Open House! Students and their guardians of all grade levels are encouraged to attend the Open House. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, walk class schedules, locate classrooms, and ask questions before the first day of school.
We will also have a 6th Grade Parent Information Session on Thursday, August 20 from 3:00–4:30pm.
The 6th Grade Parent Information Session will provide an overview of what families can expect during the transition to middle school. Parents who are unable to attend in person will have the opportunity to watch the presentation via live stream.
This year, Henrico County Public Schools will implement a staggered start, meaning only 6th grade students will attend school on Monday, August 24. This special first day will also serve as 6th Grade Orientation, featuring a full day of engaging activities designed to help students build confidence, make connections, learn school routines, and become more comfortable navigating middle school before the rest of the student body arrives.
